Frequently Ask Questions

What is included?

Our basic service includes transporting one casket or urn from your desired starting location to your desired finish location on our motorcycle hearse. At the discretion of the motorcycle operator a properly equipped family member or friend may ride on the back seat of the motorcycle to accompany the casket or urn. The maximum weight of both riders may not exceed 450 lbs.

Are there any weather restrictions?

Although we generally can ride in most weather we recognize that ice & snow present a special hazard and will not be able to participate if the roads we're going to travel on have ice or if the snow is sticking to the roadway or is expected to prior to the end of the ride.

Are you affiliated with a funeral home?

No, but we do have relationships with many of the funeral homes in the Seattle-Tacoma metro area.

Do we have to hire an escort for our procession?

No, although we are affiliated with Regional Motorcade, there is absolutely no requirement for you to hire an escort for you to use our services.

Do you work on holidays?

Yes, Holiday premium pay rules will apply. We observe all federal holidays. If a holiday falls on Sunday it will be observed on the following Monday. Click HERE to see a list of holidays we observe.

The vehicle is approximately 8 feet wide and 8 feet long.

Are there any roadway restrictions?

Yes, we can only travel on hard surfaces (gravel and paved roads and driveways) and the vehicle has no off roadway capability. The vehicle is equipped with a reverse gear so we can back into spaces or up to doorways if there is an appropriate surface to drive on.
